URC-KHG crosses the width of Xinjiang, connecting the provincial capital to the ancient Silk Road city at China's far western edge. The 1,100 km sector takes under 2 hours by air. China Southern and Urumqi Air combine for 4 to 7 daily nonstops. This is one of the most geographically remote domestic routes in China.
