British passport holders enter Serbia visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. No fee, no advance application. Passport must be valid for the duration of the stay.

No supporting documents are mandatory, though immigration officers can ask for proof of accommodation and return travel. Register with the local police within 24 hours of arrival. Hotels and hostels do this automatically, but if staying at a private address, you or your host must register at the nearest police station. Failure to register can result in fines or difficulties at departure.

Direct flights from London to Belgrade (BEG) run about 2 hours 40 minutes on Air Serbia. Serbia uses the Serbian dinar (RSD), trading at roughly 117 RSD per EUR 1. Euros are widely used informally, and ATMs dispense dinars. No vaccination requirements for UK arrivals. Serbia is not in the Schengen Area or the EU, so time here does not count against Schengen limits.
