Rome Climate

Mediterranean climate. Summers are hot and dry (28–36°C, June–August) with little rain and intense sunshine. Heat rarely disrupts flights but can make the terminal uncomfortable. Winters are mild (5–13°C) with rain primarily from November through February. Snow in Rome is rare, occurring once every few years, but when it falls the city and airport are largely unprepared.
