Spanish passport holders enter France with zero formalities. Both countries are EU and Schengen members, so flights between them have no border checks at all. A valid Spanish national ID card or passport is sufficient. No visa, no registration, no paperwork of any kind.

If you plan to stay in France longer than 3 months, register at the local mairie (town hall) or prefecture for a certificate of registration. EU citizens have full right to live and work in France without a work permit. For the first 3 months, no registration is required. Global bus Line 60 connects Las Palmas (Santa Catalina bus station) to LPA in about 25–30 minutes (€2.95). Service is frequent from around 06:00 to midnight. From Maspalomas and the southern resorts, Line 66 runs to the airport in 40–50 minutes (€4.35).Taxis from Las Palmas city center cost €25–35. From Maspalomas: €30–40. The GC-1 motorway runs directly to the airport. Rental cars are the dominant transport mode for island visitors; return desks are in the terminal building.
