Air France, Delta, United, and other carriers fly Paris CDG to multiple US cities direct, including New York JFK, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, and Washington Dulles. The US dollar is the local currency. Tipping is expected (15 to 20% at restaurants). Travel insurance covering medical costs is strongly recommended since US healthcare charges are extreme by French standards. An ER visit can cost USD 3,000 or more without insurance.

Metrorail Orange Line connects to downtown Miami and Dadeland (15–30 min, $2.25). The MIA Mover links the terminal to the rental car center and Metrorail station; free. Taxis to Miami Beach cost $35–40 (flat rate).Ride-shares are typically $20–30 to South Beach. For Fort Lauderdale, Tri-Rail runs from the airport station ($3.75, 60–70 min).

Tropical climate with year-round warm temperatures (20–33°C). Wet season runs June through October with daily afternoon thunderstorms and hurricane risk. Flights are most disruption-prone during this period.

Dry season (November–April) is peak tourist season with lower humidity. Winter temperatures rarely drop below 15°C. UV is strong year-round.
