Turkish passport holders need an Electronic Authorization (SAE) or a visa to enter Mexico. If you hold a valid US, Canada, Japan, UK, or Schengen visa or permanent residency, you can obtain the SAE online through the INM (Instituto Nacional de Migracion) website for free, which allows stays of up to 180 days. Without one of those qualifying visas, apply for a Mexican visa at the Mexican Embassy in Ankara.
The embassy visa requires a completed application, passport photos, bank statements showing 3 months of activity, proof of accommodation, and a return ticket. Processing takes 5 to 10 working days. Passport must be valid for the duration of stay. Mexico does not require 6-month passport validity. The visa or SAE covers tourism and business visits up to 180 days.
