At Brunei International Airport (BWN), immigration stamps your passport for 14 days. Have your hotel booking and return ticket ready. If arriving overland from Sarawak (Malaysia), the same 14-day terms apply at land crossings. Multiple entries are allowed if re-entering from Sarawak, which is common when driving between Brunei's two non-contiguous territories.

No direct flights connect South Korea to Brunei. Route through Kuala Lumpur (2 hours 30 minutes to BWN on Royal Brunei Airlines or AirAsia), Singapore, or Manila. Total travel from Seoul Incheon runs 9 to 13 hours. Brunei uses the Brunei dollar (BND), pegged 1:1 to the Singapore dollar, and SGD is accepted everywhere. No mandatory vaccinations. Alcohol is banned in Brunei. You can import up to 2 bottles of liquor and 12 cans of beer for personal consumption (declare at customs), but drinking in public is prohibited. Most restaurants and shops close during Friday prayer time (12:00 to 2:00 PM).

AREX (Airport Railroad Express) runs two services from Seoul Station: the Direct Train (43 min, ₩11,000, reserved seats) and the All-Stop train (66 min, ₩4,550, unreserved). Both trains serve T1 first, then T2; confirm which terminal your airline uses before boarding.Limousine buses depart from major Seoul neighborhoods and hotels (₩16,000–18,000, 60–90 min depending on traffic). KAL and LIMOUSINE services are reliable. Taxis from central Seoul cost ₩65,000–80,000 and take 60–90 minutes. Deluxe (black) taxis are pricier but English-speaking drivers are more common.
