You need a return or onward ticket and proof of accommodation. At Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND), immigration stamps your passport after a brief interview about your trip purpose and where you are staying.

The 90-day stay can be extended at the Immigration Department in St. George's for a fee of XCD 100 (about $37) per month. Grenada is a Commonwealth nation and uses English as its official language. No customs declaration form is needed for personal belongings. Duty-free allowances include 200 cigarettes, 1 liter of spirits, and gifts valued up to XCD 270.

Direct flights from Miami (MIA) to Grenada run about 3 hours 30 minutes on American Airlines. JetBlue operates from New York JFK (about 4 hours 30 minutes). Seasonal service runs from other US gateways. Grenada uses the Eastern Caribbean dollar (XCD), pegged at XCD 2.70 per $1. US dollars are accepted at hotels, restaurants, and larger shops. ATMs in St. George's and Grand Anse dispense XCD. Water taxis between Grand Anse Beach and the Carenage in St. George's cost XCD 10 ($3.70) per person. Minibus routes run across the island for XCD 2.50 to XCD 6 depending on distance. Nutmeg is everywhere: Grenada produces about 20% of the world's supply.

IAH has no direct rail link to downtown Houston. The IAH Express bus runs from Houston Amtrak/Greyhound station via Park & Ride to Terminal C (60–90 min, $1.25 with METRO Q card). This is the only transit option; Houston's rail network does not reach the airport.Taxis from downtown Houston cost $50–70 and take 40–60 minutes. Ride-hails (Uber, Lyft) are typically $35–55. IAH sits 23 miles north of downtown on the North Freeway (I-45); traffic is heavy during morning and evening rush. Remote economy parking lots serve all terminals via shuttle.
