Limousine buses serve major hotels and stations (¥600–1,100). Ride-shares (GO, S.RIDE) are growing in Japan. The airport is 14km from central Tokyo, significantly closer than Narita.
The C-1 Cercanías train to Málaga Centro-Alameda costs €1.80 and takes 12 minutes. Platforms in Terminal 3 are accessible via the connecting corridor. Run every 20–30 minutes.Taxis to Málaga center: €15–20. To Marbella: €60–80 (45–60 min). To Torremolinos or Benalmádena: €15–25. Rental car desks are in the arrivals hall; the N-340 coastal road provides good access to resort towns.

The Levante (easterly wind) can cause turbulence on approach, particularly in autumn. November through January sees the most rainfall. The airport handles heavy seasonal traffic peaks in July and August. Arrive early for check-in during summer.
