CTA public buses 356, 400, and 1138 run from central Cairo to the airport (EGP 5-25) but are slow and crowded. Airport shuttle buses from major hotels cost EGP 25-50. For reliability, Uber or Careem with a pre-set fare is the path of least friction.
Metrorail Orange Line connects to downtown Miami and Dadeland (15–30 min, $2.25). The MIA Mover links the terminal to the rental car center and Metrorail station; free. Taxis to Miami Beach cost $35–40 (flat rate).Ride-shares are typically $20–30 to South Beach. For Fort Lauderdale, Tri-Rail runs from the airport station ($3.75, 60–70 min).
