Switzerland is part of the US Visa Waiver Program. Swiss passport holders need an approved ESTA to enter the US. Apply at esta.cbp.dhs.gov at least 72 hours before departure. The fee is USD 21. Taxis to Miami Beach cost $35–40 (flat rate).Ride-shares are typically $20–30 to South Beach. For Fort Lauderdale, Tri-Rail runs from the airport station ($3.75, 60–70 min).
