Warsaw to Dublin (WAW–DUB) — Airlines, Schedules & Connections

Direct flights from Warsaw to Dublin run about 3 hours on LOT, Ryanair, and Aer Lingus. Ryanair also flies from Krakow, Gdansk, Wroclaw, and Katowice to Dublin and other Irish airports. Ireland uses the euro, trading at roughly 4.3 PLN per EUR 1. No mandatory vaccinations. Dublin's Leap card (EUR 5 deposit) works on buses, DART rail, and Luas trams. Ireland drives on the left side. Tap water is safe to drink everywhere. The weather is mild year-round (5 to 20 degrees Celsius) but expect rain any day, any month.

SKM (Szybka Kolej Miejska) commuter rail Line S2/S3 connects Warsaw Central (Warszawa Centralna) to WAW in 25 minutes (PLN 4.40 within Zone 1, or PLN 7.00 including Zone 2). Trains depart roughly every 15–30 minutes. The platform is directly below the terminal; no bus transfer needed.Bus lines 175, 188, and N32 (night) serve the city center for PLN 4.40. Taxis cost PLN 40–60 from the center (20–30 min). Uber and Bolt (dominant ride-share in Poland) run PLN 30–50. Parking from PLN 30/day in the remote car park.

Airlink 747 coaches depart from outside both terminals every 10–15 minutes to the city centre (€7 one-way). Dublin Bus routes 16 and 41 are cheaper (€3.10 with Leap card) but slower, taking 45–70 minutes. Taxis are metered; expect €25–40 to the city centre depending on traffic and time of day.

Rental car desks are located in both terminal buildings with a large multi-storey car park adjacent. For north-side city destinations, the airport is relatively quick via the Port Tunnel; south-side journeys add considerable time during peak hours.

Temperate oceanic climate with mild, wet weather year-round. Summers (June–August) are cool and frequently overcast, with highs of 17–21°C. Winters are mild (3–9°C) with frequent rain but rarely frost or snow. Fog can affect operations in autumn and winter, particularly early mornings.

Wind is the primary disruption risk. Atlantic storms from October through March can cause ground stops and diverts. Pack a waterproof layer regardless of season; dry, sunny days occur but rarely in long stretches.
