Bus services (Kuo-Kuang and others) also connect central Taipei to Taoyuan for around TWD $125, but are slower.Taxis from Taipei city centre cost TWD $1,200–1,600 depending on traffic; the national freeway (No. 2) is the standard driving route. Self-drive parking is available in multi-storey structures at both terminals.
Rail from Manchester Airport station (between Terminals 1/2 and 3, connected by free shuttle bus) to Manchester Piccadilly takes 20 minutes (£4.80 off-peak). Metrolink tram is slower (55 min) but cheaper and connects to suburbs not served by rail. Long-distance trains depart directly from the airport station to Liverpool (55 min), Leeds (80 min), and other northern cities.Taxis from arrivals cost £25–40 to the city centre; Uber operates from a designated zone.
