Getting to SYD

The Airport Link train (T8 line) runs from Central Station to the International Terminal in 13 minutes and to Domestic terminals in 10 minutes. Trains run roughly every 10 minutes from about 05:00 to midnight. The fare is AUD $20.10 from the CBD (Opal card); this includes a station access fee levied separately from standard fares.Taxis from the CBD cost AUD $45–65 depending on traffic and time of day; Uber is available from designated pick-up zones. Getting from BER

The Airport Express (FEX) to Berlin Hauptbahnhof takes 30 minutes and costs €3.80 with a standard ABC-zone ticket (covered by the Berlin Welcome Card). Departs every 30 minutes. S9 to Spandau or Westkreuz also works (45–50 min, same fare).

Taxis to Mitte: €40–55 (35–50 min). Uber: €30–45. The train platforms are in the basement of Terminal 1; follow the "S-Bahn/FEX" signs from baggage claim. Rental car desks are in Terminal 1 arrivals. Regional trains to Magdeburg, Dresden, and Leipzig also stop at BER airport station.
