South Korean passport holders enter Singapore visa-free for up to 90 days. No fee, no advance application. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry. You need a return or onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. Singapore requires all visitors to complete the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) at eservices.ica.gov.sg within 3 days before arrival. This is a free electronic declaration that replaced the paper disembarkation card.

At Changi Airport (SIN), immigration is fast. Use the automated lanes if eligible. The 90-day visa-free period can be extended at the ICA building on Kallang Road before expiry, but extensions are at the officer's discretion. Singapore has strict import rules: chewing gum is banned, e-cigarettes and vapes are prohibited, and bringing in more than 1 opened pack of cigarettes triggers duty (SGD 0.427 per stick).

Direct flights from Seoul Incheon to Singapore run about 6 hours 30 minutes on Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Scoot. Singapore uses the Singapore dollar (SGD), trading at roughly 1.35 SGD per $1. EZ-Link or SimplyGo contactless cards work on the MRT, buses, and at convenience stores. Card payments are accepted everywhere. No mandatory vaccinations. A yellow fever certificate is required if arriving from an endemic country. The MRT runs from 5:30 AM to midnight, and Changi Airport is connected by the East-West line (Terminal 2/3) and the Thomson-East Coast line (Terminal 4).

MRT from T1/T2/T3 to City Hall takes about 30 minutes (S$2.20–2.50 with EZ-Link card). Trains run from 5:31am to midnight. For Terminal 4, take the free inter-terminal shuttle bus to T2 first.

Taxis from arrivals cost S$20–35 to Orchard or Marina Bay, including airport surcharge (S$5) and possible peak surcharges. Grab is cheaper and very reliable in Singapore. Coach buses serve Johor Bahru (Malaysia) from the airport.

Equatorial climate with no true seasons, hot (26–33°C) and humid year-round. Changi is one of the most reliable airports in Asia for flight operations: thunderstorm cells are intense but brief, typically clearing within 1–2 hours. Most delays are weather-related and short.

Northeast monsoon (November–January) brings the most consistent rain, sometimes for days at a time. Haze from Indonesian forest fires (typically August–October) occasionally reduces visibility and triggers air quality warnings, but rarely grounds flights. Changi's operational efficiency means it handles weather disruptions better than most airports its size.
