Taxis use a meter; Amsterdam Centraal costs €35–50. Ride-hail apps (Uber, Bolt) are cheaper at €25–40. Car rental agencies are at the terminal. Bus 397 to Leidseplein is the budget option (€5.50).

Temperate maritime climate, mild and frequently overcast year-round. Winters are cold (0–7°C) with regular rain and occasional snow or freezing fog.
