Both are safe and reliable for travelers with minimal luggage.Authorized airport taxis (Taxi Ejecutivo or TICO) must be purchased inside the terminal; do not take street taxis. Rates to the Zona Rosa/Centro are MXN$200–300. Uber is permitted from city to airport. The airport is just 5km from the Zócalo but traffic can make the journey 30–60 minutes.
