Direct flights from Miami (MIA) to Providenciales run about 1 hour 45 minutes on American Airlines. New York JFK to PLS runs about 3 hours 30 minutes on JetBlue and Delta. Atlanta, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, and Philadelphia also have nonstop service. Turks and Caicos uses the US dollar as its official currency, so no exchange is needed. Card payments work at resorts, restaurants, and shops. ATMs are available in Provo and Grand Turk. There is no public bus service. Taxis from PLS airport to Grace Bay cost $28 to $35 (fixed rates). Car rental starts at $50 per day. Driving is on the left (British style).
