Kuala Lumpur to Kratie
There is no direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kratie. The route requires flying to Phnom Penh (2 hours on AirAsia or Malaysia Airlines) and then taking a 6 to 7 hour bus ride northeast along National Route 7 to Kratie. KLIA's two terminals serve the Phnom Penh flights from different carriers.
Kratie is a Mekong River town in northeastern Cambodia, primarily visited for the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins at Kampi. Malaysian visitors and transit passengers from KUL heading to Cambodia's northeast should plan the overland leg carefully, as bus departures from Phnom Penh run on fixed schedules. The total journey takes most of a day. An overnight in Phnom Penh between the flight and bus is the most practical approach.
