Turkish passport holders enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days. No advance application is needed. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry. You receive a stamp at immigration. A return or onward ticket may be requested. Morocco is one of the most accessible North African destinations for Turkish travelers.

At Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) in Casablanca or Marrakech Menara (RAK), immigration stamps your passport after a brief check. Fill out the arrival card provided on the aircraft or at the immigration hall. For stays beyond 90 days, apply for an extension at the local police station (Prefecture de Police) before your 90-day period expires.

Turkish Airlines operates direct flights from Istanbul (IST) to Casablanca in about 5 hours and to Marrakech in about 4 hours 45 minutes. Royal Air Maroc also flies Istanbul to Casablanca. Morocco uses the Moroccan dirham (MAD), trading at roughly 3 MAD per TRY 1. ATMs are widely available in all cities. Card payments work at hotels, restaurants, and shops in tourist areas. The Marrakech medina and souks operate on cash. Petit taxis are metered within cities and cost MAD 10 to MAD 30 per ride. The Al Boraq high-speed train connects Casablanca to Tangier in 2 hours 10 minutes for MAD 149 to MAD 329.

Istanbul Metro M11 Gayrettepe–İstanbul Havalimanı line connects the airport to the broader metro network; from Gayrettepe (Mecidiyeköy/Levent area) the journey is about 35 minutes (₺60–70 with Istanbulkart). The line runs roughly 5am to midnight.Havaist express buses serve Taksim, Kadıköy, and other major hubs (₺50–80, 45–90 minutes depending on traffic). Taxis use a meter; expect ₺400–600 from Taksim or Sultanahmet. The airport is 35km northwest of the city; traffic on the O-7 motorway can be severe during peak hours.
