South Korean passport holders can enter Guam under the Guam-CNMI Visa Waiver Program for up to 45 days without an ESTA or US visa. No fee, no advance application beyond the CBP I-736 form (filled out on the plane or at the airport). Passport must be a biometric e-passport (with the chip symbol) valid for at least 6 months. You need a return ticket on a participating carrier, a completed I-736, and a completed I-94 arrival form.

The Guam-CNMI waiver is separate from the US Visa Waiver Program (ESTA). You can also enter Guam with an approved ESTA ($21, valid 2 years), which allows 90 days and onward travel to the US mainland. If you plan only Guam, the Guam-CNMI waiver is simpler. CBP officers at A.B. Won Pat Airport (GUM) process arrivals quickly since Guam receives massive Korean tourist volume. Korean is widely spoken at hotels and shops in Tumon Bay.

Direct flights from Seoul Incheon to Guam run about 4 hours 30 minutes on Korean Air, Jin Air, T'way, and Jeju Air. Multiple daily frequencies make Guam one of the easiest beach getaways from Korea. Guam uses the US dollar. No mandatory vaccinations. Guam is 1 hour ahead of Korea (ChST is UTC+10 vs KST UTC+9). Duty-free shopping is available at T Galleria and several outlet malls in Tumon. Rent a car at the airport for about $40 to $60 per day, as public transit on Guam is limited. The LeaLea and Red Guam Shuttle buses run between Tumon hotels and shopping areas for $5 to $10 per ride.

AREX (Airport Railroad Express) runs two services from Seoul Station: the Direct Train (43 min, ₩11,000, reserved seats) and the All-Stop train (66 min, ₩4,550, unreserved). Both trains serve T1 first, then T2; confirm which terminal your airline uses before boarding.Limousine buses depart from major Seoul neighborhoods and hotels (₩16,000–18,000, 60–90 min depending on traffic). KAL and LIMOUSINE services are reliable. Taxis from central Seoul cost ₩65,000–80,000 and take 60–90 minutes. Deluxe (black) taxis are pricier but English-speaking drivers are more common.
