Airport shuttle buses also operate from major city hotels and the railway station for CNY 20. The airport is about 33 km west of the city centre.DiDi and taxis from downtown cost CNY 60–100 depending on traffic. In winter, factor in additional time for road conditions; Harbin is one of China's coldest cities and ice and snow on approach roads can significantly slow travel. Driving via Airport Expressway takes 35–55 minutes.
Airport Link trains depart every 10 minutes to Central Station (13 min, AUD $20.10 with Opal). The station access fee makes this more expensive than typical Sydney transit. Taxis from International Terminal queue outside arrivals; metered fares to the CBD run AUD $45–65. Uber operates from a designated ride-share zone.Rental car companies have desks in both the international and domestic terminal precincts.
