Qatari passport holders enter Singapore visa-free for up to 30 days. No fee, no advance application. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry. At Changi Airport (SIN), use the automated immigration lanes if you have a biometric passport, or join the manual counter queue. Processing is fast either way. Singapore also requires an SG Arrival Card (electronic), submitted free at eservices.ica.gov.sg within 3 days of arrival. This replaced the paper disembarkation card.

The 30-day stay can be extended up to 89 days at the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) office on Kallang Road ($40 per extension). No return ticket is formally required, but airlines may check before boarding. Singapore enforces strict customs rules: bringing in chewing gum, e-cigarettes, or more than 1 carton of cigarettes (opened, with Malaysian or Indonesian tax stamps) is prohibited. Declare all items above SGD 600 in value.

Direct flights from Doha to Singapore Changi run about 7 hours 30 minutes on Qatar Airways and Singapore Airlines. Multiple daily frequencies. Singapore uses the Singapore dollar (SGD), trading at roughly 0.37 SGD per QAR 1 or about 1.35 SGD per $1. Card payments and contactless (via Apple Pay, Google Pay) work everywhere. No mandatory vaccinations. The MRT and bus network covers the entire city-state on an EZ-Link card (SGD 5 deposit) at SGD 0.99 to SGD 2.21 per trip. Taxis start at SGD 4 and average SGD 15 to SGD 25 for cross-island trips. Grab (ride-hail app) is ubiquitous.

Doha Metro Gold Line connects the city center directly to Hamad International; the Hamad International Airport station is at the terminal (15–20 min from Al Bidda / West Bay area, QAR 3–6). Metro runs 6am–11pm Sunday–Wednesday, until midnight Thursday, and 2pm–1am Friday. The Gold Line also connects to the Red and Green lines at Msheireb station for wider coverage.Taxis from West Bay / downtown Doha cost QAR 30–50 and take 15–25 minutes. Karwa taxis are metered and more regulated than informal options. Ride-hail apps (Careem, Uber) operate widely in Doha.
