Direct flights from Doha to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi run about 6 hours 30 minutes on Qatar Airways and Thai Airways. Daily service with multiple frequencies. Thailand uses the Thai baht (THB), trading at roughly 9.70 THB per QAR 1. ATMs are everywhere (THB 220 foreign card fee per withdrawal). Card payments work at malls, hotels, and chain restaurants. Doha Metro Gold Line connects the city center directly to Hamad International; the Hamad International Airport station is at the terminal (15–20 min from Al Bidda / West Bay area, QAR 3–6). Metro runs 6am–11pm Sunday–Wednesday, until midnight Thursday, and 2pm–1am Friday. The Gold Line also connects to the Red and Green lines at Msheireb station for wider coverage.Taxis from West Bay / downtown Doha cost QAR 30–50 and take 15–25 minutes. Karwa taxis are metered and more regulated than informal options. Ride-hail apps (Careem, Uber) operate widely in Doha.
