No proof of funds is formally checked at the airport for visa-free entry, but the guideline is THB 20,000 per person or THB 40,000 per family.

Direct flights from Doha to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi run about 6 hours 30 minutes on Qatar Airways and Thai Airways. Daily service with multiple frequencies. Thailand uses the Thai baht (THB), trading at roughly 9.70 THB per QAR 1. ATMs are everywhere (THB 220 foreign card fee per withdrawal). Card payments work at malls, hotels, and chain restaurants. Street food and smaller shops are cash only. No mandatory vaccinations. The Airport Rail Link from BKK to central Bangkok takes 30 minutes at THB 45. Bangkok's BTS Skytrain and MRT metro cost THB 17 to THB 62 per ride. Grab works across Thailand for taxis and food delivery.

Doha Metro Gold Line connects the city center directly to Hamad International; the Hamad International Airport station is at the terminal (15–20 min from Al Bidda / West Bay area, QAR 3–6). Metro runs 6am–11pm Sunday–Wednesday, until midnight Thursday, and 2pm–1am Friday. The Gold Line also connects to the Red and Green lines at Msheireb station for wider coverage.Taxis from West Bay / downtown Doha cost QAR 30–50 and take 15–25 minutes. Karwa taxis are metered and more regulated than informal options. Ride-hail apps (Careem, Uber) operate widely in Doha.
