Dallas-Fort Worth to South Caicos (DFW–XSC) — Airlines, Schedules & Connections

US passport holders enter the Turks and Caicos Islands visa-free for up to 90 days. No advance application is needed. Turks and Caicos is a British Overseas Territory. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry. A return or onward ticket is required. Complete the online TCI Assured Portal health declaration before arrival. At Providenciales International Airport (PLS), immigration stamps your passport.

The archipelago has 40 islands and cays, 8 of which are inhabited. Providenciales (Provo) is the tourism and population center, with Grace Bay Beach consistently ranked among the world's best beaches. Grand Turk, the capital island, has the Turks and Caicos National Museum and is a cruise ship port. The islands sit on the third-largest barrier reef system in the world. Scuba diving and snorkeling at the wall drop-offs are the signature activities.

Direct flights from Miami (MIA) to Providenciales run about 1 hour 45 minutes on American Airlines. New York JFK to PLS runs about 3 hours 30 minutes on JetBlue and Delta. Atlanta, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, and Philadelphia also have nonstop service. Turks and Caicos uses the US dollar as its official currency, so no exchange is needed. Card payments work at resorts, restaurants, and shops. ATMs are available in Provo and Grand Turk. There is no public bus service. Taxis from PLS airport to Grace Bay cost $28 to $35 (fixed rates). Car rental starts at $50 per day. Driving is on the left (British style). Inter-island flights on interCaribbean and Caicos Express connect Provo to Grand Turk (25 minutes), South Caicos, and Salt Cay.

DART Orange Line runs from downtown Dallas to Terminal A (50 min, $3). TEXRail serves Terminal B from Fort Worth ($2.50). No direct rail connects both cities to DFW; choose based on your origin. Ride-shares cost $25–45 from either city center.DFW's five terminals span 17,000 acres. The free Skylink people mover connects all terminals airside.
