Direct flights from Tokyo Narita to Auckland (AKL) run about 10 hours 30 minutes on Air New Zealand and ANA. No direct service to other NZ cities from Japan. Connections through Sydney, Melbourne, or Singapore reach Christchurch (CHC) and Queenstown (ZQN). New Zealand uses the New Zealand dollar (NZD), trading at roughly 0.55 NZD per 100 JPY.
