Italy uses the euro. No vaccination requirements. Hungarian driving licenses are valid for short stays; residents must convert to an Italian license at the local Motorizzazione within 1 year. Italian bureaucracy is notoriously slow, so expect multi-week waits for codice fiscale and residency appointments in larger cities.
