Spanish passport holders enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Your passport must be valid for at least 5 months from the date of entry (not 6, Turkey is specific about this). No eVisa, advance application, or fee is required. You get stamped in at the airport.

The 90-in-180-day rule is enforced strictly. If you stay 90 consecutive days, you must leave Turkey for 90 days before re-entering. Breaking the stay into shorter trips within the 180-day window is fine as long as the total does not exceed 90 days. Overstaying triggers entry bans ranging from 1 month to 5 years depending on the length of the overstay.

Turkey is not in the Schengen zone or the EU. Flights from Spain go through full passport control on both departure from Turkey and re-entry to Spain. Turkish immigration does check the stamp dates in your passport, so do not lose track of your 90-day count if you make multiple trips.

Global bus Line 60 connects Las Palmas (Santa Catalina bus station) to LPA in about 25–30 minutes (€2.95). Service is frequent from around 06:00 to midnight. From Maspalomas and the southern resorts, Line 66 runs to the airport in 40–50 minutes (€4.35).Taxis from Las Palmas city center cost €25–35. From Maspalomas: €30–40. The GC-1 motorway runs directly to the airport. Rental cars are the dominant transport mode for island visitors; return desks are in the terminal building.
