KLIA Ekspres train runs non-stop from KL Sentral to KLIA in 28 minutes (RM55 one-way). KLIA Transit (slightly slower, RM55, stops at three intermediate stations) also serves the airport. Both run from 5am to midnight, every 15–20 minutes. Road from central KL takes 45–90 minutes depending on traffic.
The airport is 50km south of central KL. Taxis and Grab from the city cost RM50–80. Budget Terminal KLIA2 (AirAsia hub) is a separate building served by the same rail link.
No rail connects CLT to the city. Uber and Lyft to Uptown Charlotte cost $18–30 (15–20 minutes). Taxis are metered, slightly more expensive.CATS Route 5 bus runs to downtown ($2.20, 45 min). Rental cars are in an on-site facility attached to the terminal. The airport's single main terminal with concourses A–E is connected by an underground people mover; clear security at your concourse, not at the central checkpoint, to save time.
